Those results worsened slightly after the summer, when 65%-28% of voters wanted him to drop another bid for the White House.
Trump's popularity among Republicans has plummeted, although he remains highly popular within Biden's own party. GOP voters 56%-39% want Trump to run again. Since July, 60%-34% of Republicans support another run, down a few points.

Biden's job approval rating has risen since the summer to 44% approval-53% disapproval. His position is still underwater by 9 points, but he jumped 39%-56% in July.
That 6-point deficit doesn't shine until you compare it to Trump's approval rating of 35%-58%. And consider the comparison with other branches of government: the president's approval rating is 41% higher than the Supreme Court's, compared to 27% for the US Congress.
